About Me
I'm a marketing consultant, advisor, and fractional CMO with 20 years of experience helping brands get clear on who they are and what they're doing about it.
I started my career at two of the best brand schools in the world, L'Oréal and Diageo, where I worked on some genuinely iconic brands (Guinness, Baileys, Gordon's, Maybelline) and learned what it takes to build marketing that actually moves people. I left in 2020 to do the same for smaller brands, faster.
Since launching CLO Consultancy, I've worked with everyone from household names like Aptamil to serious scale-ups like Huel, to founder-led start-ups across beauty, food, lifestyle, wellness and more.
What they've had in common: smart people who needed a senior marketing brain in a flexible way that works with their business.
I'm sharp on the thinking and I'll roll my sleeves up on the doing.
Why I built CLO Consultancy

While I loved my corporate career, I wanted more. I wanted to make faster, bigger impact with brands I could help grow and evolve from strategy to reality. I wanted to get closer to the consumer, to understand what really drives them, and to bring marketing to life beyond the conference room. Every day, I aim to create work that’s bold, actionable, and exciting.
I combine senior strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leading strategies and orchestrating their delivery.
Sharp on the thinking, strong on the doing, and laser-focused on impact, I partner with brands to make them smarter, sharper, and more effective.
The corporate days
For 15 years I helped build some of the world's most recognisable brands at Diageo and L'Oréal.
At Diageo, I led European Brand Communications for Premium Core Brands, managing a team of nine across seven markets and a £3.1m budget. We delivered campaigns that moved the needle: Baileys saw +25% consumer engagement and +400% visibility; Gordon's Pink Gin grew +26% in its first year; Baileys Almande beat sales forecasts by 30% and reached 25 million impressions across online and offline.
I thrive on spotting trends, cultural movements and finding creative marketing solutions to reach consumers. At L'Oréal, I spotted early that YouTube tutorials were going to be enormous and built Maybelline UK's how-to content before most brands had thought about it. I also led the project that brought Diageo's social media in-house, long before brands were concidering it, doubling engagement for Guinness and Baileys in the process.
I bring a hands-on, strategic, and human approach to everything I do, building brands people love, leading teams people thrive in, and delivering work that makes both commercial and cultural sense.
What excites me most is the intersection of creativity, culture, and commercial impact: creating marketing that feels authentic, sparks conversation, and drives real business results.
