About Me

I’m a creative marketing consultant with 20 years experience helping brands unlock their potential, through smart strategy and standout execution that delivers.

After 15 years in marketing at global FMCG giants L’Oréal and Diageo, I wanted to switch to small brands with big impact. I’m passionate about shaping brands, bringing ideas to life, and connecting with what truly moves consumers.​

 

I followed  that dream and launched C.L.O Consultancy in 2020. Since then, I’ve worked with everyone from household names like Aptamil, serious scale-ups like Huel, to founder-led start-ups across beauty, food, lifestyle, and more.

 

I combine sharp strategy, honed on some of the world’s most successful FMCG brands, with hands-on execution to make brands smarter, sharper, and impossible to ignore.

Why I built CLO Consultancy

While I loved shaping iconic global brands, I wanted more. I wanted to make faster, bigger impact with brands I could help grow and evolve from strategy to reality. I wanted to get closer to the consumer, to understand what really drives them, and to bring marketing to life beyond the conference room. Every day, I aim to create work that’s bold, actionable, and exciting.

Since then, I’ve worked with founder-led start-ups to household brand names across a wide variety of categories including beauty, food & drink, supplements, lifestyle, and home.

I combine senior strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leading strategies and orchestrating their delivery. Sharp on the thinking, strong on the doing, and laser-focused on impact, I partner with brands to make them smarter, sharper, and more effective.

The corporate days

For 15+ years I helped deliver marketing comms work for some of the world’s most iconic brands within Diageo &  L’Oréal including Guinness, Baileys, Gordon’s, Maybelline, the list of beauty and booze icons is endless.

At Diageo, I led European Brand Communications for Premium Core Brands, building and guiding a team of nine across seven markets, managing a £3.1m budget, and working with some of the best agencies in the business. Together, we delivered campaigns that made a difference: Baileys saw +25% consumer engagement and +400% visibility, Gordon’s Pink Gin grew +26% in its first year, and Baileys Almande exceeded sales forecasts by 30%, reaching 25 million impressions across online and offline channels.

I’ve always loved turning bold ideas into reality—whether that’s launching Europe-wide product campaigns, pioneering YouTube tutorials for Maybelline UK (spotting this incredible opportunity before other brands caught the 'how-to' bug), or leading the in-house model at Diageo bringing social media in-house to double engagement for Guinness and Baileys.

Along the way, I’ve supported 150+ marketers through restructures, nurtured high-performing teams, and helped brands cut through the noise while staying true to who they are.

I bring a hands-on, strategic, and human approach to everything I do—building brands people love, leading teams people thrive in, and delivering work that makes both commercial and cultural sense.
